HAND-CUT

This Laminated Leather Leaf Pendant has been hand cut using a Saddler’s knife, and various other Saddlery tools.

This Leather Pendant is made from leftover pieces of leather, which are too small to make into other items. We have glued, (or laminated) them together before cutting out a shape from them.

CONSTRUCTION DETAIL

Corners are nicked to prevent unsightly folding and bending. We then sand the edges, making it comfortable to wear.

EDGE POLISHING

Due to the combination of layers of Chrome Tanned Leather in this product, we cannot hand burnish the edges in the traditional way, as Chrome Tanned leather cannot be hand polished. Therefore the pendant edges are lightly sanded and then varnished.

FINAL TOUCHES

Finally, we carefully punch a hole,  add a  jump ring, a chain and Trigger clasp, to create a simple and elegant necklace.
